Yup, I was sitting behind you. I wish I had said “I liked your show” to Becky FIRST and THEN started firing questions at her, but I was really intrigued by the show and I forgot. Ah, well.

Hope, I totally agree that Becky’s acting was one of the most moving things about murder, hope (was that you sitting behind me? I thought that was your voice during the talk back but I was too riveted to take my eyes off the stage!) The section where she recited the alphabet was what got me- the ability to be so organic and present onstage in that way is really rare. What an awesome, powerful piece. I had no desire to see it after the preview, but friends told me to go so I did, and now I use that as my testament to the power of word of mouth during Fringe.

Everyone else, I’ve always said that if you are drawn to a show for whatever reason, who cares with other people say about it? Go and decide for yourself!

“Welcome to Blanksville” has two more performances: TONIGHT (Friday) at 7:30pm and Sunday at 7:30pm, both times at the Phoenix Theatre.

Thanks for coming to the show. I will say you were there on an off-night. Like any show, there has to be a certain energy that is there for everything to fall into place. We have had some amazing feedback from the show for the first two showings. Dealing with a structured improv piece is difficult, but we’ve successfully pulled it off. I wish you could have seen that happen. None the less, I appreciate your feedback and all that you do!

Michael, that is, indeed, excellent news! Thank you for telling me (and my blog readers.)

I am no longer making any promises to anyone because although I am well-rested right this second, who knows what kind of babbling-wet-noodle-shape I’ll be in later this weekend.

However, I have heard many, many good things about “Medea!”

I’ll do my best.
