We appriciate it. We love men! I write alot of the "emasculating" sketches. I don't feel our show is about making fun of men, rather it is making fun of stereotypes. Loud drunken women, people who value pets more than children, Walmart disciples, wicked children, cheerleaders-they all suffer our mockery. There is acctually very litle in the show that debases men in particular, we just try to put a lens on the absurdity that we see everyday. Alot of that absurdity is colored by our experience as female writer, director, performers. There is still very much the idea that women must remain pretty to remain feminine-that is what we aim to lampoon. Kate and I are often hideous in our show and still 100% female and we hope, funny. In the email, he explains in detail why he loves this show.
